We ended up having a Footlong basic Subway each as part of a meal deal ( ie with a packet of chips and a soda ) and it cost $35 !!!!!! There is no longer a buffet ( despite some direction signs to the contrary ) there is a food court offering Subway, Popeyes, Deli sandwiches, Pizza, Asian food, hamburgers etc and two more formal restaurants upstairs.
Any staff we dealt with were very friendly and helpful and coffees and similar beverages are complimentary whilst you are at the machines. There are a very large range of slot machines ( table games are all automated or electronic ) over two floors and although I was only there for a couple of hours the payouts seemed fair or at least average for American casinos. We went here as part of a visit to the Aqueduct racecourse which is joined ( its a Racino ) getting the Metro or subway from Midtown New York ( its an easy walk across the car park or via a walkway from the station stop ).
